The first visit will start with your anamnesis and with the measurement of the anthropometric data.
Subsequently, we will fill-in a questionnaire about the Medically Unexplained Symptoms (MUS).
Then, we will proceed to the evaluation of the body composition and the analysis of the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS). Both measurements will be conducted with non-invasive instruments. Let’s see how.
Evaluation of the body composition
It consists in the measurement of the body composition in its quantitative, qualitative and functional parameters. It is carried out through the bioelectrical impedance instrument of BioTekna™.
The following parameters will be evaluated: Total Body Water, Extra- and Intra-Cellular Water, Fat-Free Mass, Fat Mass, ExtraCellular Matrix, Basal Metabolic Rate and circadian trend index of stress hormones.
Analysis of the Autonomic Nervous System
It consists in the complete analysis of the autonomic nervous system and of the heart rate variability. It is carried out through the PPG Stress Flow instrument of BioTekna™. The analysis allows to identify possible inflammatory related to an altered stress status.
The visit will be concluded with the definition of your nutritional profile.
